Abstract: Some business owners feel that, once they have a collection process in place, everything should take care of itself. But, more often than not, strong collections are a growth process. Like a gardener, one must sow the seeds of trustworthy payors, tend to the relationships that grow and, occasionally, trim some leaves off the vine.
