Description

Abstract: The U.S. Supreme Court has long held that laws of nature, natural phenomena and abstract ideas — “no matter how groundbreaking, innovative or even brilliant” — aren’t patentable under Section 101. The court concluded that the invocation of computers added no inventive concept to the idea of a transaction performance guaranty. Alice Corp. Pty. Ltd. v.
